My Dolls, No 151

A doll very much belonging in line with my 'main' collection - very realistic, African ethnicity face mold, red lipstic and super cool contemporary curvy body...

Fashionista nr 39 Emoji Fun
Just as 'Indian' Goddess she came in a set with clothes...i would never buy her as new in the box only for her pretty face...

Apparently there seem to be at least 3 versions of her!
With black glasses and curs, with red frames and wavy hair and one without any 'spectacles' and in narrow box - interesting!

Not sure to which is mine- this is how she looked on eBay, less than 10 with postage

\i think I will try to recreate thick locks...

She came beautifully wrapped and it was fun to go through all three layers:-)

her ugly dress turned out to be genuine Barbie fashion - my daughter will be happy i guess

...anyway her skin-tone is amazing and vibrant orangey lips work just fine. She photographs so well!

here she is on ...contrast with her cousin actually...

she loves her curves <3
and is not afraid to show it...

I adore how she fills some of these summer fashions!

My doll no. 150

Today documentation of carboot from 31.05.17, when my sister was visiting. The enjoyed this slightly exotic yet very Birtish activity:-)
I tried to be modest and clever and looked only for black trousers for work but somewhat, in a mean time, got slightly lucky...

I have dug her out in very last minute - barely played with fashionista body Nikki in not-completely-horible outfit and all limbs! She turns out to be Barbie X2281 Nikki Fashionistas Star with Dog.

...her head is so huge i feel like moving her onto curvy body;-)

Here she is after super quick make-over with most fashionable (at the time) orange 'lipstick'

Congratulations on being my 150th doll described!

very lovely mold and long bangs cover her over the top blue:-o make-up;-)

She will soon be back on my blog  exciting international adventures...

Have you noticed a cute little book randomly chosen from a full collection I didn't want to invest in or carry tbh... Silly friendship/jealousy book 'for girls' but photographs are amazing...
but be careful.. you can develope a desire for Teenage Skipper LOL

:-)

---------------------

Week earlier I was lucky enough to buy quite a few things which are now a part of my everyday life - i was surprised to see they all came from carboot and on the same day...

My daughters purple birthday dress, vintage handbag, decorative cake plates, Joules jersey scarf, blue Indian thingie for sorting letters I now keep using as dolls shelving;-)...
also this collection of ugly shoes I have my daughter and vinyl Disney tunes:-)
Dracullare with no arm but shoes instead and Build a Monster handsome head with fab marine wig:-)

Christe - Basic 2

It comes in waves but quite regularly...
In the sea of all these exciting new all inclusive fashionistas, Superstar sentiments and carboot hauls... one thing never changes - my admiration to vintage-ish Christie doll..

here yet again I am revisiting my dolls wearing classic of minimal fashion - white top and denims:-)
Hawaiian Fun 1990 and Holiday Season Christie 1996

 Delicious minimalism!

May extravaganza

Yes, this is not supposed to happen but hey - when I see doll which may pass unappreciated and is definitely underpriced I cannot control myself;)

This way I got myself my second Model Muse (after BHF bundle) with Mackie face and accidentally, I swear - the last doll of the Hairtastic series;-) AND sporty Teresa Fashionista as a potential donor;-)
Stiff Cindirella with molded gloves!? was send to my daughters nursery - my conscious is clean and doll is actually circulating happily, hopefully;-)
All this below 10 with shipping...

The charming blonde turned out to be 2013 Christmas Barbie (25th Anniversary).
As much as I sort of liked her snowflake inspired silvery dress and fancy evening make-up - I immediately knew I would not be inspired by her in anyway (so i have done an awful thing - sold dress, head and spare shoe - separately;-)

Her hair were extremely greasy and make-up too heavy for my liking...

her shoe was tragically tangle into her hair - but a nice surprise (my first and last model muse shoe)

dress was pretty cool and very well done but haw many obviously wintery and obviously chritsmasy photos can one adult collector take;-)

**

Teresa was just awful. Dress was cleverly designed and fun as idea of glam sporty but glittery and blah blah...

blah blah!

and last but not least ....Hairtastic who is totally unacceptable....
but i love her and she is sooo kawaii...

all three
I 'accidentaly discovered tehre is few more long haired stiffies with open mouth-
pastel ones and ones with glittery hair...

there was balloon headed Nikki as well-)

ANYWAY...
I gave my Candy Floss girl a good wash, shared all fashion bits with my daughter...

before and after

she even made few pastel friends already (tbc)
