86 - MH blue hair

...I know, Monsters are illegal and I shouldn't give her a number but she possessed me completely....and it was about time (three Clawdeens alter;-P)

Luckily enough after being picked up from the latest carboot sale I could cool myself at seaside and shoot few picks of my new treasures - directly after the purchase. How exciting.

You have to forgive me doll's tangled hairstyle but after all she is rocking this dead-body-washed-on-a-beach look of a sea demon, or something...

Absolutely love her colours and make-up palette. I usually avoid blue but this Summery edition is so much fun!

 uhhhhhh the colours! <3

oh, Summer is nicer than I remembered!

Today's doll is one of Ghoulia Yelp editions. I don't think I like her as a cartoon but her coloring and mold are just great!
(Judging on tiny dress and a helmet mine was one on a scooter with a fleshy seat and cherry motif - how cool is that!..as cool as her green lipstick possibly?)

I definitely have my eye set on these...

Nr 85 in progress

I stumbled upon this one in a huge basket of softies - articulated leg spotted immediately... I don't care about Disney dolls but this body was interesting and mold can always be repainted, right?

She turned out to belong to Disney's limited / special edition 18" articulated and singing dolls.
Mine has dead batteries and hair in such a bad condition that I won't feel much guilt...

At this point I think I have another head for this body but let's examine this terribly cute Aurora (oh, forgot she even had her dress):

her body looks like that:

and in comparison with regular 'Barbie'
she isn't very easy to pose - rather stiff and heavy...

you can see and hear her in more detail on ToyBoxPhilosopher's blog...
few tribute shots before she will be changed for ever....

My dolls - nr 84

At the same boot sale (17.07) I have purchased one doll with the Teresa mold as well.
It's not the best incarnation of her - princess, supermarket edition, Barbie movie doll, but I saw her many times on-line and let go few times on carboot. This one was clean and needed to be saved.
She needs few make-up tips me thinks, as well (brrr). One cannot deny however, that her long, wavy, auburn hair ain't fantastic and unusual for this face sculpt!

This is how she came to me -
in cheap oversized wedding dress and with messy braids and plastic fairy tiara

 princessy make-up - check;-)
 glitter and stuff in grooves;-)
not even sure if it's some out-worldy mattel fairy styling or some kid's work...
 here she is 'untangled' again...
and after spa:
she really reminds me of someone here...
What a difference already...

Here she is few weeks later wearing modern flower fairy outfit, with pearly shimmer on lips neutralized a bit and pinkness of her eyeshadow darkened with a basic pencil...

As a new doll she looked like that:

it the same Swan Lake line came out Odette Barbie and AA edition...

oh..and a lighting up 'magikal' stuff..

and some video samples /brace yourself)...
